- Avoid long hours of direct sun as it will cause the preserved or faux blooms to fade in colour over time.
- Use a clean brush to gently remove any dust to prevent dust from accumulating.
- For preserved or dried flowers, keep in a dry spot at home as humidity may cause mould to grow on the natural blooms. Do not place in toilets or kitchens, or near humidifiers.
- Avoid excessively touching the preserved or dried flowers.
- For some preserved flowers like roses, the petals may turn "translucent" after time. This is due to humidity. You may use a hairdryer to remove moisture from the petals. Use a low heat setting and hold the dryer at least 15 cm away.
- Preserved flowers are flowers that have been heavily processed and manipulated. Wires, cotton wool and tape are commonly used to give support to the preserved blooms. Please handle them with care.
